An ambition for a selective network.
Our vision of development is not based on rapidly multiplying locations. It involves identifying the conditions under which a concept could be adapted to a place, an operator and a clientele, while preserving its coherence and quality of welcome. LSP is our first working concept; its replicability must be demonstrated before any franchise offering.
Who could YRALYS development projects be for?
Franchising & affiliations
- Owners of campsites or outdoor hospitality propertiesindependent campsites, residential leisure parks, holiday villages and existing properties considering a premium diversification, without presuming the legal eligibility of any individual property.
- Professional operators and managerscampsite managers, hoteliers, tourist residence managers, multi-site operators and professionals interested in a development, management or licensing arrangement.
- Private landownersowners of rural, natural or potentially developable land, large properties or estates who may wish to have a project assessed by qualified professionals. Ownership alone does not make land suitable for operation; permissions, planning, environmental requirements, wastewater treatment and safety still need to be checked.
- Individuals with a project / future entrepreneursindividuals wishing to create, acquire or take over a tourism business; a potential proposal would need to be assessed against experience, training, funding and the operating partner, without guaranteeing that a franchise would be possible.
- Owners of estates, châteaux, character properties and heritage sitesowners of destinations who may seek a hospitality development compatible with the protection of the place.
- Owners of hotels and other existing tourist accommodationproperties that might consider additional rooms, a specific concept, a partial conversion or a partnership.
- Investor-operators, family businesses and regional groupsprofessionals with an operating organisation, potentially working alongside a separate property owner.
- Local authorities, developers and institutional ownerspotential territorial partners for feasibility and development, without being presumed franchisees; roles and permissions are specific to each project.
Several possible forms of cooperation.
- development or operating partnership
- affiliation to a network and its services, if such a network exists
- brand or resources licence, according to its scope
- franchising with know-how transfer and support once a model has been tested
A chosen label alone does not determine legal status.
Value to build and demonstrate.
- Concept identity and a set of standards
- Site qualification and guest experience
- Equipment, maintenance and procedures
- Training and support
- Distribution and revenue management
- Digital tools and data protection
- Network support and quality control
These resources will need to be developed and tested before any commitment.
A progressive process.
- The operator presents the project
- initial discussion and profile review
- assessment of the place, roles, regulations and demand
- economic study, funding and allocation of responsibilities
- pre-contractual information and independent advice where required
- formalisation, training and preparation for opening
- operating follow-up and continuous improvement.
No application process, territorial allocation or formal selection is open at this stage.
Building on evidence.
Before any contractual proposal, operating standards, the value of services, brand protection, financial terms and the support framework will need to be established and verifiable. The economic viability of a future property will always depend on its own site, investments and management.
Frequently asked questions.
Can I already open an LSP franchise?
No marketed franchise programme or opening of applications is announced at this stage.
Could an existing hotel or campsite join YRALYS?
Several forms of cooperation are being explored; criteria and conditions have not yet been decided.
What are the entry fees and royalties?
No approved fee schedule is currently available.
What training and tools would be offered?
The knowledge-transfer and support arrangements will need to be developed and tested before any commitment.
Can I reserve a territory or obtain a guaranteed return?
No territorial exclusivity, area reservation or financial performance is offered.
Which programmes could be involved?
LSP is the founding concept under consideration; other programmes would require their own evidence and approvals.
Do I need to own and operate a campsite myself?
Not for an initial feasibility discussion; however, the allocation of functions between owner and operator will need to be defined.
Is owning land enough to join the network?
Not automatically. Regulatory and technical feasibility, operating status and funding must be assessed beforehand.
Could I keep my current brand?
Some forms of affiliation may allow this, but no YRALYS rule has yet been decided.
I have never operated a hotel or campsite; could I explore a project?
Yes, on an exploratory basis, subject to the necessary experience or operating support. No official selection is currently open.
Could I be only a property owner or real-estate investor?
A property partnership model differs from an operating franchise; responsibilities will need to be examined separately.
Discussing development opportunities.
An initial discussion will allow the place, roles and feasibility conditions to be examined.
Professional discussions will open when YRALYS launches.
